JOIN THE National 1 League
Beginning with the 2026-27 season, Chicago Inferno Soccer Club is proud to compete in the National 1 League (N1)—the premier team-based competition formed through the collaboration of US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer. This new national platform unites the former National Premier Leagues (NPL) and National League into one streamlined pathway designed to elevate the youth soccer experience.
For our players and families, N1 provides a more competitive, structured environment while reducing unnecessary travel and creating a clearer pathway for long-term player development. The league is designed to match clubs with appropriate levels of competition, allowing players to compete in meaningful matches that support their growth throughout the season.
As part of the National 1 League, Chicago Inferno athletes also benefit from increased visibility within a nationally recognized competition that is aligned with U.S. Soccer's player identification model and integrated with the ECNL Regional League. This provides greater exposure to college coaches while creating additional opportunities for advancement through a merit-based pathway.
